If you have been following along on my Instagram or keeping up with anything related to my wedding, then you know the wedding is in under 4 months..WHAT THE HECK. I truly cannot believe it. That being said I started a clean detox for the rest of the time until the wedding. It has been one week so far and I must say I already feel healthier, cleaner and leaner. This recipe is for the people that love and need to snack throughout the day, AKA me. I need a food fixation at all times of the day to keep me “occupied” and also get me through the busy parts of the day. I want it to be healthy and everything in this recipe is whole foods, gluten free, dairy free..basically everything you could find in the earth!
What you need:
1Tbsp Maple Syrup (organic)
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
pinch of salt
1/2 cup Almonds
1/2 cup Coconut Flakes, unsweetened
1/2 cup Walnuts
What to do:
Put walnuts, almonds, dates (after taking the pit out) into a food processor. Food processor works best..can try with blender but it really needs to be chopped! Add coconut, water, cocoa powder & maple syrup. Process again in food processor. Mold with hands or spoon into little balls! EAT. You can add a extra water/ syrup for density and flavor if needed. Refrigerate not needed but they also taste good cold!
