The most surreal and magical places that I have ever visited. Not only were the beaches magnificent, it was quiet and serene. The food in Krabi was different then some of the other places in Thailand. There were more options with a sprawl of street vendors, cocktail bars and upscale restaurants. Hong Island in Krabi had beautiful caves, aqua and green water and snorkeling right off the coast. Another day in Krabi we went and rented motor bikes to take them up to “Dragons Crest” which is a hike I had been wanting to do since the beginning. They say that this hike is “pretty easy” and for being in pretty decent shape, I have to say it was a little more difficult then I had hoped. The prize at the summit was worth the 2 hour hike up.
Our last full day in Krabi we went to another beach around the corner and saw monkeys. They were pretty aggressive and not the friendliest as they stole all of our food, at least they were cute! Afternoon drinks at “The Coffee Club” were delicious and a great way to end a beach day.
