Salmon Stir Fry

Very happy to be introducing a new section to the blog for all of the recipes I have been cooking lately. If you are watching my stories…you have been seeing me cook a lot more! Never been into cooking but when I came across some really yummy recipes I could not resist! Plus, it is so much easier to eat healthy when you cook vs going out to eat (which I love to do).

The good thing about all of the recipes I will be putting on here is that they will 100% be quick and easy..no chance in hell I am spending hours slaving over any meal especially since right now, I am only cooking for me myself and I! This stir fry is so so delicious because of one secret ingredient especially. The black bean sauce! This can be found at Whole Foods. I have made this stir fry with chicken as well but prefer the salmon because I am trying to cut down on eating meat..(red meat that is). This meal can truly be served at any time of the year, in my opinion. ENOY..xo, J

What you need:

Boneless Salmon ( 0.5 lb will be enough for leftovers )
Onion & / or Celery
Soy Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
Olive Oil
Fermented Black Bean Sauce ( one culture )
Any type of noodle (I prefer gluten free)
Salt to taste

What to do:

  1. Chop up the carrots, broccoli & onion into small pieces
  2. Start heating olive oil up on high heat on the stove in a big sauce pan
  3. Put in the carrots & onion to saute on the high heat
  4. Get out the salmon and start chopping into bite size pieces, remove skin if needed
  5. Add in broccoli to cook
  6. Add in salmon to cook (if using chicken, cook only half way in the beginning, take out after saute veggies and put back in to cook fully after)
  7. Start to boil water for the noodles
  8. Put noodles in for 13 minutes
  9. While noodles are cooking, add to the sauce pan worcestershire sauce (just a dash)
  10. Add 2-3 spoonful’s of soy sauce
  11. Add about 1/2 bottle of the black bean sauce into the mix
  12. Add in noodles when cooked
  13. Add salt to taste
  14. Serve hot! đŸ™‚
